ALBUMS AND EPS
Dark Side marks Ashley's first production collaboration with renowned Producer Gary Miller, whose credits include Bowie, George Michael, Fergie, Slash, Rob Thomas, and many other prolific artists. Ashley wrote and produced demos for the two original tracks on the project, Dark Side and Lunar Eyes, which she then handed over to Gary to develop and fully produce. Lunar Eyes was licensed to play in Abercrombie & Fitch stores in January of 2017.
Ashley's sophomore album Seeing Stars incorporates synthy pop elements with acoustic guitar and piano to create songs that are sweet, heartfelt, introspective, and at times sassy and fun.
Ashley's writing focuses on spiritual and cerebral themes, and the songs communicate a message of hope and healing around issues such as loss, addiction, and the ups and downs of life that we all endure and grow from. At the same time, this album explores themes of connection and human support - the comfort and encouragement that these indispensable aspects of being social creatures inspire - and the emotions we experience when our bonds are threatened or severed.
Seeing Stars is a significant work for Ashley because it marks her first foray into producing using the music software Logic. Ashley created the songs from scratch on her own, and then took them to the producer of her debut album Aftershock, Erik Colvin, to receive help in refining and polishing her work before releasing it.
